Burke P/L is conducting a voluntary product recall of Burke Deluxe Bosuns Chair and Burke Standard Bosun Chair purchased nationally after June 2007 that do not display either a production batch number or inspection label.
Defect: Burke Bosun Chairs manufactured between July and August 2007 may be fitted with a defective stainless steel lifting ring that if used could split or break causing injury or death.
Urgent Action: Cease using immediately and contact Burke P/L direct to organise for a free inspection and load testing of the stainless steel ring.
