This year's Melbourne Peugeot Beneteau Regatta was once again a huge success with 30 yachts competing in the annual event. Once again great weather greeted all who attended on the Saturday with beautiful sunshine and light winds. Lunch and drinks were enjoyed by all with a great chance to catch up and also to view the Peugeots that were on display provided by Brighton European.
With a light breeze building at race start and continuing throughout the day some close and enjoyable racing was ahead as the spinnaker division departed from the line. The no-extras division left 5 minutes after all with a downwind northerly start.
The results for this years regatta as placed below:

Once all were back in port cocktails were provided by Cointreau before all moved up to the Quarterdeck at Sandringham Yacht Club. With wines provided by Uncorked Wines of Sandringham and a beautiful meal by Sandringham Yacht Club a wonderful evening was had by all with live music and dancing. For those brave soles who were able to rise the following morning breakfast was put on by the Sundance staff.
Once again we would like to thank all our sponsors for there help and support including, Peugeot Australia, Brighton European, Cointreau and Nautilus Marine Insurance.
We hope that all who attended the weekend had a enjoyable time and are going to be able to join us again for another great Beneteau Regatta next year.
David and John Beck
